Tamiya Kit # 20032 is a brand new in the box 1/20 Scale Jordon 191 Ford Formula 1 plastic model kit. The kit is still sealed in the outer factory cellophane. The box is perfect, just like new. Drivers Andrea de Cesaris and Bertrand Gachot drove this car during the 1991 Formula 1 season. The kit decals will allow you to replicate the car # 32 car of Gachot or the # 33 car of de Cesaris. This car also has a unique place in Formula 1 history in that it is the first Formula 1 car driven by Michael Schumacher. It seems that Gachot was arrested and imprisoned in the middle of the season after an assault on a London taxi driver. Team Jordon signed Schumacher to drive the car at the Belgian Grand Prix. He qualified the car 7 th the best ever for Jordon at that time but the joy did not last as the car lost a clutch on the first lap and retired. Team Benetton seeing the driving skills of the future champion then quickly swooped in and grabbed Schumacher under protest from Team Jordon and the rest as we say is history!
